Initial enquiry
- We were approached in February 2007 by the Director of Credit and Risk, for Advantage Home Loans. He asked for our assistance in filling an urgent vacancy for a Remote Mandated Underwriter based within a packaging company. Advantage had tried all the typical methods of recruitment including a long and expensive advertising campaign and the use of several high street recruitment agencies both local and national.
- The vacancy had been classed as a problem assignment due to the geographical location and the specific skill set and level required.
Action
- Rolled the assignment out to our Senior Underwriting Specialist Consultant.
- Conducted a full Search of all competitor companies in the area and identified a pool of highly qualified candidates.
- Made a full report to Advantage.
- Professionally approached all of the suitable candidates
- Interviewed the 10 most qualified candidates and then prepared a shortlist of the 3 most suited to the vacancy which we sent on to the client
- Set up an interview day including travel arrangements for the candidates
Results
- Vacancy filled by a Top performer who is now doing extremely well.
