The Search Process

Each assignment conducted by Aaron Clark Executive Search is unique and tailored to our client’s requirements. We employ a systematic approach, which is highly proactive and effective, while recognising the need for utmost discretion to guarantee confidentiality.

Initial Consultations

In a detailed discussion the client will explain the company current situation, their future vision, the industry in which the company operates and their recruitment needs. In turn we use our experience, knowledge and expertise to refine the client objectives.

The Position Specification and Search Plan

To form the basis for initial discussion with potential candidates we prepare and submit a detailed position specification. Agreeing a Plan of Action with our clients including: mutually agreed – upon dates for completion, client contact frequency and initial candidate interview schedules.

Strategy and Research

To identify the most successful, respected and qualified professionals we plan and implement a Search Strategy. Drawing on our experience, market knowledge, extensive database and research resources.

Identification of prospective candidates

The most critical ingredient of any assignment is identifying quality candidates, which is achieved using our Search Strategy. Once identified a full report is disclosed. Including: Their experience, skill sets, employment history, achievements, qualifications and our views on the suitability for the position.

Prospective Candidate Interviews

As the search progress’s we hold meetings with potential candidates to Asses their qualification and motivation. At this stage it still maybe desirable for the client name to remain confidential however potential candidates almost invariably are willing to enter into preliminary discussions with us.

Reference Checking

At this stage all candidates are reference checked however we always recommend our clients do their own referencing prior to any potential candidate start date.

Client Candidate meeting

Ensuring that our clients are fully briefed about each candidate in advance. We liase with both candidate and client to arrange a suitably agreed interview schedule.

Candidate Evaluation

Following each interview we take detailed feedback from both client and candidates on their thoughts, whilst advising on the next suitable course of action.

Negotiation of Offer

We understand how delicate this stage of the process can be. We will advise our client’s of our candidate’s expectations whilst acting as the ‘honest broker’.

Completion of Assignment and Follow Up

Whilst candidates are serving a notice period we will keep in regular contact with both client and candidate and ensure all necessary contracts are actioned in time for start date. For the probationary period Aaron Clark Executive Search will continue to gather feedback from their client on the progress of introduced employees.
